it's a great day for watermelon

it was 82, perfect and sunshiny beautiful. we had a 3 hour stint of weeding, mowing and watering. we sunbathed several times during the day but never made it out of the driveway. we planned for a nice long walk after a light dinner of fajita's and salad and then BAM the beautiful weather turned dark and we are now listening to massive rolling thunder. the news predicted this all week, but we held out hope that they were terribly wrong. it's strange because it 78, dark and any second it will have been worthless that i watered. still, the yard could use it, but poop. i really wanted to take a walk. i don't think the nice weather was supposed to carry over tomorrow, but we will see. i want to get to the falls, i hear they are raging since the whole flood thing.
