where did this weekend go?

it was a nice long weekend for us. we started it on thursday and headed to idaho to have some water park fun. we had a great time and i really loved just being gone for 1.5 days. it was the best to get back from "vacation" on a friday and enjoy the rest of the day. i discovered a new medium this weekend. i worked with some fine silver and below i will have photo's. it was hard to wake up today, i still felt quite tired, and then i worked on my pretties for about 6 hours. and then BAM the day was gone. it feels like i just woke up and now it's bedtime. and i still have lots of orders to wrap. what did you do this weekend?

at 7pm tonight we decided it was a good idea to take lanna to the park. tonight we went to Audubon Park, where they have a splash pad that is so so awesome for hot days. we waited until 7pm because it dipped to 90 degrees and it felt good to be out there. the sun was going down and the temp was perfect. normally 90 is not the 'perfect temp' to be in, but this was really nice. lanna went to this park twice last week with her class and she had been dying to take us. we brought a big container of watermelon, pineapple and sandwiches and had a picnic dinner after we played.

it's 101 degrees today. and to keep cool we will be having an obscene amount of Strawberry Lemonade, popsicles, and nice cool dips like Tzatziki and chips, and salsa.
